Winter Newsletter for 2016

Posted on June 15, 2016

A lot has changed since our last newsletter. We have introduced a new name for our custom made window furnishings, Malvern Curtains and Shutters

Having launched a new website, we are starting to add images of the gorgeous curtains, blinds and shutters we have recently created.

What's in for Winter 2016...

Colour. Summer was noted for embellishing your surrounds with splashes of colour...Winter is all about bringing back lots of colour.

Authentic, organic linens are popular. In natural tones or rich with vibrant stripes, this look is timeless.

We mentioned botanicals before, we are seeing florals specifically make the biggest change. This trend for "granny florals" is a echo from days of old.

Soften with Sheers. Sheers are still very popular but with a difference. We are seeing a trend towards adding sheers to windows with blinds, an easy transformation to softening the overall look of a room.

What's trending...

The Formal Dining Room is making a comeback. This marks a return to luscious surroundings whilst sharing food and fun with friends.

With our busy lives reliant on technology, we are seeing a movement towards creating 'digital free' zones. A space where you can 'switch off', colours are warm and calming, Rose Quartz and Powder blue are trending...

Complement the environment you create with natural organic textures for a relaxed feel.

The last Limited Release curtains sold quickly

Our last limited release curtains were sold so quickly (one pair was sold in less than 24 hours!) and we have had such a great response to these fabrics….so we are doing it again!

Amazingly we have been able to get more of these gorgeous fabrics and they will again be made up into beautiful curtains...see the fabrics below.

You are welcome to come in and talk with us about your curtain needs.

We look forward to seeing you.

From the Team at The Curtain Exchange.
